This is not a bad course, but I went with three stars because of two things. First is the elderly gentleman, he could be a lot nicer. When you go to a golf course I feel like there is a type of service that should be given. With all the rules we follow, I kind of hold the employees at a higher standard. Second, the greens are very inconsistent. Some are super fast and others have “fairway” patches. Upside is bar and restaurant has great service and food.
Nice challenging golf course. Most of the course is well maintained, and some greens need to be helped due to lots of rain at times. Tee boxes are pretty nice, not weeds or sand. The fairways are full of grass. It does rain more here than on other parts of the island, so there may be some mud or soft ground, but nothing too bad. The rough is....we'll, rough. It can catch your club face if you're not careful. There are plenty of trees on either side of the fairway. If you're lucky, they will kick your ball back onto your intended fairway, I'm not that lucky. There are no fairway bunkers at this course. Most of the greens are nice and smooth. A few have divot marks from other layers not fixing them. The greens are also firm and fast, except after a good amount of rain. There is sand in the bunkers, not hard and packed down. Pro Shop sells equipment and various golf attire. Driving range, short game area, and putting greens located here. Restaurant and snack bar are located at the clubhouse. Food is pretty good and lots of TVs for sports lovers. This is a military golf course with public access.
Incredibly beautiful course! It is among my favorites to play at on the island. Due to the rainfall, it is lush and well maintained. The landscaping is a level above any other course I've seen. I would definitely recommend bringing some bug spray as you will get eaten alive, if not. I have nothing but good things to say about this course and the staff.
